Vacation Slides
A Play Date With Destiny
Today was another awesome day on the road trip. We loaded up our gear into the truck and picked up Sarah, (who was able to fly in early due to the kindness of a fan – thank you!). We visited the Walt Disney Museum, had a late lunch on Haight, drove into Golden Gate Park and explored the area. In the evening we drove across the Bay Bridge to Oakland where we met up with Rachel and Vivian at Fentons Creamery for some dessert.
Our trip is nearing its end and tomorrow will be amazing no matter what happens. Thank you for your continued support and we hope Pixar’s security guard gets a kick out of the truck.
Year in Review
It is exhilarating to think about how far the project has come along since we started. What began as a simple “build and drive around the neighborhood” concept has evolved into what we have today. Even now the different pieces of the project are being rearranged and we discover a facet of an idea we hadn’t thought of yet.
This road trip is a combination of many ideas that we’ve tossed around for the past year. We want to travel, we want to explore, we want to meet people along the way and have some adventures.
For those who have followed us for some time and to those just joining us, thank you. We hope you get as much of a kick out of our little project as we do.
T-Minus One Month
After weeks of triple checking plans, estimating drive times, calling friends so we can crash on their couches, and finalizing our itinerary, we have settled on our trip dates:
4/21 – Santa Barbara
4/22 – San Luis Obispo
4/23 – Monterey/Santa Cruz
4/24 -4/26 San Francisco
4/27 The Journey Home
